I absolutely love these Columbia water shoes. I’ve put them through some pretty cool tests — from hiking rugged cliffs in Portugal to paddling and wading in Banff National Park. These shoes let me fully enjoy the outdoors, and here’s why:

✅ No seaweed sticking or creepy bugs biting! If you hate that gross, slimy feeling, these shoes are a game-changer.
✅ Excellent traction and grip. I can’t go barefoot, so these keep me stable on slippery rocks and uneven trails. Hiking cliffs? Check. Lakeside adventures? Check.
✅ Even better — they made me feel secure walking on cliffs right after coming out of a boot from an injury. Talk about a confidence boost!
✅ Sand? No thanks! I’m not a fan of sand getting everywhere, so these shoes let me enjoy the beach without the gritty aftermath.
✅ Columbia’s drainage system works well, so water doesn’t stay trapped inside, though I do wish they dried faster.

Cons:
• Putting the shoes back on when wet is tricky — it’s basically an extra workout.
• They dry slower than I’d like, so I always bring a backup pair of sandals to let them air out.

All in all, these water shoes help me enjoy the outdoors — whether I’m scrambling cliffs in Portugal, recovering from injury, or soaking in Canadian lakes — without worrying about pain, slipping, or gross feet. Highly recommend if you want to stay active and comfortable on any adventure!

Price Point: $90–120 CAD (or $40–50 per shoe, since I was in a boot 😅).
